About the Project
A persistent digital ecosystem that transcends the physical boundaries of the campus. UNIverso allows for massive synchronous interaction, enabling everything from personalized virtual tutoring to large-scale academic events in digital auditoriums. A key tool for the internationalization and universal accessibility of UVigo.
The Technical Challenge
The main challenge was to achieve a fluid and accessible experience across different devices (standalone VR headsets and PC) while maintaining high visual fidelity in recreating the iconic spaces of UVigo, optimizing polygon load and network management for dozens of simultaneous users.
